Find quick answers about submissions, peer review, publication, open access, ethical policies, and support. If you don’t see your question, please contact our editorial office.

For Authors

How do I submit a manuscript?

You can submit your manuscript through the journal’s submission link (typically “Submit Manuscript”). Prepare your files according to the Author Guidelines and ensure all required documents are included.

  • Manuscript (Word/LaTeX PDF depending on journal instructions)
  • Figures/tables (if separate files are requested)
  • Cover letter (recommended)
  • Conflict of interest and funding statements
What types of articles do you accept?

Depending on the journal scope, we accept research articles, review papers, case reports, short communications, methodological papers, and editorials. Always check the journal’s “Aims & Scope” and “Author Guidelines”.

How should I format my manuscript?

Please follow the journal’s Author Guidelines. Common requirements include structured sections (Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion), figure and table captions, and complete references in the required style.

Do you charge an Article Processing Charge (APC)?

Some journals may charge an APC to cover editorial processing, online hosting, and archiving. APC details (amount, payment timing, waivers) are provided on each journal website.

Can I submit to more than one journal at the same time?

No. Simultaneous submissions are not allowed. Please submit your manuscript to one journal at a time. If you decide to submit elsewhere, you should withdraw your submission first.

How long does the review process take?

Timelines vary by journal and reviewer availability. Typical steps include initial editorial screening, peer review, revision, and final decision. You will be notified by email as your manuscript progresses.

What happens after my paper is accepted?

After acceptance, your manuscript proceeds to copyediting, typesetting, proofing, and publication. You may receive page proofs to check before final publication.

Can I withdraw my manuscript?

Yes. Authors may request withdrawal by contacting the editorial office with the manuscript details. Withdrawals during or after peer review should include a valid reason.

What are your policies on authorship and contribution?

Authorship should reflect significant contributions to the work (concept/design, data collection, analysis, drafting/revising). All authors must approve the final version and agree to submission. Changes to authorship after submission require editorial approval and consent from all authors.

What if my research involves humans or animals?

You must include ethical approval details (IRB/ethics committee), informed consent (where applicable), and compliance with relevant guidelines for human/animal research.

Can I publish a preprint and still submit to your journals?

In many cases, preprints are allowed. If your work is posted as a preprint, please disclose it at submission. Final policy may vary by journal, so check journal guidelines.

For Reviewers

How can I become a reviewer?

You can apply through “Join as Reviewer” (if available) or email the journal editorial office with your CV, areas of expertise, and recent publications.

What are the reviewer confidentiality requirements?

Manuscripts under review are confidential. Reviewers must not share, use, or distribute manuscript content and should declare conflicts of interest immediately.

How should I structure my review report?

Provide a brief summary, major comments (methodology, novelty, results), minor comments (clarity, formatting), and a clear recommendation (accept/minor revision/major revision/reject).

What if I suspect plagiarism or data manipulation?

Report concerns confidentially to the editor with supporting evidence (e.g., overlapping sources, suspicious figures). Do not contact the authors directly.

Can I decline a review invitation?

Yes. If you cannot review within the timeline or have a conflict of interest, please decline quickly. You may suggest alternative reviewers if appropriate.

Publication & Indexing

Do you provide DOI for published articles?

Many journals assign DOIs to published articles to support permanent discovery and citation. DOI availability depends on the journal and issue workflow.

Where will my article be published and how can readers access it?

Articles are published on the journal website under the relevant issue/volume and are openly accessible (no paywall). Article pages typically include PDF and full-text formats.

Is your journal indexed in Scopus / Web of Science / PubMed?

Indexing status varies by journal. Please check the journal’s “Indexing” page for the latest information. We continually work to improve visibility and indexing coverage where eligible.

Can I request corrections after publication?

Yes. Minor corrections may be addressed as an erratum/corrigendum. Major issues may require editorial review and, in rare cases, retraction (see Retraction Policy).

Do you support special issues?

Yes. Journals may organize special issues on focused themes. Guest editors should contact the editorial office with a proposal (topic, scope, timeline, potential contributors).

Ethics & Policies

What is your plagiarism policy?

We have zero tolerance for plagiarism. Submissions may be screened using similarity checks. Manuscripts with unethical overlap may be rejected or returned for clarification.

Do you accept previously published work?

We generally do not accept duplicate publication. If parts of the work have been published (e.g., conference abstract, preprint, thesis), disclose it clearly during submission and provide citation details.

How do you handle conflicts of interest?

Authors, reviewers, and editors should disclose any financial or non-financial conflicts that could influence the work. Editorial decisions are made independently and transparently.

What is your retraction policy?

Retractions may be issued for serious issues such as plagiarism, unethical research, major errors, or data fabrication. When needed, we publish clear notices to maintain the integrity of the scholarly record.

What are your data availability and reproducibility expectations?

Authors should provide sufficient methodological detail and, where possible, share datasets and code or explain limitations. Journals may require a “Data Availability Statement”.

Open Access & Copyright

What does open access mean on Journals Online?

Open access means readers can access articles freely without subscription or paywall barriers. This increases visibility, citations, and real-world impact.

What license do you use (e.g., CC BY)?

Many journals publish under a Creative Commons license (commonly CC BY), allowing reuse with appropriate attribution. Please confirm the exact license on the journal’s policy page.

Who owns the copyright?

Typically, authors retain copyright while granting the journal the right to publish and distribute the work under the selected open-access license. Specific terms are provided in journal policies.

Can I share my published article on my website or institutional repository?

Yes. Open access encourages sharing and archiving. You may post your article link and PDF as permitted by the license. Always include correct citation and DOI (if assigned).
