Introduction
The American Journal of Energy Engineering (AJEE) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal publishing advances across renewable and conventional energy systems, power and grid engineering, storage, decarbonization technologies, and energy policy and economics. AJEE highlights rigorous science that enables reliable, affordable, and sustainable energy transitions.
We welcome original research, reviews, short communications, techno-economic analyses, and case studies covering (but not limited to) solar PV and CSP, wind and marine energy, geothermal, hydro, bioenergy, batteries and BESS, hydrogen and fuel cells, carbon capture/utilization/storage (CCUS), power electronics and microgrids, smart grids and demand response, building energy systems and HVAC, industrial energy efficiency, combustion and thermal systems, lifecycle assessment, and energy systems modeling and policy.
Through rigorous peer review and transparent editorial practices, AJEE promotes reproducibility and cross-disciplinary collaboration between engineering, economics, and policy for real-world impact.
