About the Journal
The American Journal of Business and Economic Development (AJBED) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal that publishes rigorous research and policy-relevant analysis on firms, markets, and institutions — and how they shape inclusive, resilient, and sustainable growth.
AJBED welcomes original research articles, review papers, short communications, policy notes, data/method papers, replications, and case studies. All submissions undergo rigorous double-blind peer review handled by an international editorial board. We endorse transparency and reproducibility, including pre-analysis plans, preregistration where appropriate, and sharing replication packages.
As an open-access journal, AJBED provides immediate, free access to all content to promote equitable knowledge sharing and evidence-based policymaking.
The journal publishes quarterly and is working toward inclusion in leading indexing services to maximise visibility and impact.
