About the Journal
The American Journal of Cancer Research (AJCR) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal publishing high-impact basic, translational, and clinical oncology research. Our mission is to accelerate the conversion of scientific discovery into improved prevention, diagnosis, therapy, and survivorship.
AJCR welcomes original research, reviews, brief communications, methods, clinical trials, case series, and policy analyses across areas such as:

- Tumor microenvironment, metastasis, and heterogeneity

All manuscripts undergo rigorous double-blind peer review managed by an international editorial board. We endorse open science, including data and code availability where feasible.
As an open-access journal, AJCR provides immediate, free access to all content to support equitable knowledge sharing and faster progress against cancer.
The journal is published quarterly and is working toward inclusion in leading indexing services to maximise visibility and impact.
