Introduction

The American Journal of Toxicology and Pharmacological Research (AJTPR) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal publishing advances across experimental and clinical toxicology, pharmacology, and safety sciences. We highlight mechanistic insight, translational relevance, and rigorous methodology spanning molecules to populations.

We welcome original research, reviews, short communications, methods/validation studies, case reports with mechanistic depth, and regulatory science perspectives across (but not limited to): drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics (DMPK/ADME), systems pharmacology and modelling (PBPK/QSP), immunotoxicology, neuro/hepato/nephro/cardio-toxicity, reproductive and developmental toxicology, nanotoxicology, occupational and environmental exposure, biomarkers and “omics” toxicology, alternatives to animal testing (in vitro, organ-on-chip, in silico), pharmacovigilance and real-world evidence, and risk assessment/benefit–risk evaluation.

Through rigorous peer review, clear reporting standards, and open science practices, AJTPR supports safer therapeutics, informed regulation, and protection of public health.
